We’ve used our Realtime recording system for years to compose new ideas, and to accompany singers and instruments with little or no overdubbing. With it we can compose, record and sometimes even mix simultaneously, in a single pass, on a single keyboard. Everything that happens gets recorded on its own track. This year we’ve expanded it to include 14 controller foot pedals and dozens of routing switches and sequence triggers. The idea is to shorten the distance between inspiration and realization.
